Taxes Schmaxes!

Well before we talk about taxes.. DID YOU SEE UGLY BETTY LAST NIGHT!! WE LOVED IT! It was really cute and I must admit was a saucy and over the top treat. its got some trashiness, plenty of sexy people, drama, silly.. and you cant help but love and root for the underdog Betty. I love the sidline stories going on. I love her. I love the show. Im hooked on phoenics.

Anyhow bout the taxes.. the suplimental tax bill came in and we were told the suplimental bill would end up running almost 2k. and we thought it would be due by the end ot the year. Well we were half right sorta. Its ONLY going to be 1k and thats 500 by Dec 10th and the other 500 in April. OMGWTFLAZERPEWPEW! happy times inthe casa de la chichi.

Okay So everyone call me on my birthday so i know you love me! We decided this morning that we are doing lunch at Elephant bar sunday at noon. So if you want to join the little lunch table of birthday goodness, please let me know =) I may get my dance on saturday night, so gonna pray for the UN-Hangover so i can enjoy my grubbing. WEEEEE!!

But seriously, its interesting how a single scent can get ya lucky or get ya a HELL NO. Everyone should have a thing. I know mine! And its ME! Anywho, So did anyone watch Laguna last night? I have to admit last night i really started getting annoyed at the richness of it all? These damn kids are WAY more spoiled than last seaons batch by far. Oh my coach bag, my gucci shoes, my 6k shopping allowance a month, that expensive ring i bought you for being my gf.. WHATEVER. Oh Tyler, your gay, your going to be gay, THE gay with Gucci shoes (WTF Tyler you have gucci shoes?) and a shoping budget from mommy and daddy that is the equivalent that i make in a month. I hate you, you ugly gay boy lol, so leave Kyndra alone. Shes way too young for you, and you need to just date a boy and get over your very very bad hair and your unmasculine ways and accept it sister. Oh speaking of, yours is a bitch lol. She went to prom to spy on your GF lol. LAME. She is hot though. but lame.. its not cool. GOD I LOVE LAGUNA!

So i saw a car like mine today all ghettofied. Meaning, slammed, rims, black windows and pinstripes.. whats even worse, I LIKED IT! now i want pinstripes, dark windows OMG! GIMME!

Anyhow so the Bday is right around the corner 5 days in fact and im getting asked what I want. Well its one of those questions i was raised to never truthfully answer because its not proper. You know, like makes you sound greedy or spoiled. But lets face it, there is nothing wrong with answering the question as long as its within merits of reason. In my head, i never expect anyone to spend more than 20 bucks on a gift unless your my mom and alex, then you spend no less than 200 bucks HAHAHAHA.. kidding. So the easiest thing to say is a gift card goes along way if you dont have a clue on what to get. Itunes, Old Navy etc.. If you know me, you would know how easy I am (hahahahaha)=p

So tonight is Laguna Beach folks!!! Lets watch it and gossip about it tomorrow! Oh speaking of, dont forget tomorrow is UGLY BETTY!

Did you watch it???? Did you love it like I did? Did you think the girl-friend of the artist was an overacted lame?? I love the Asian man. Hes my new best friend! Except i hate his teleport face LOL. YAHHOOOOOO!!!! And her dad is the debil you can juset see it! DEBIL!! Is it me though or does this try to be xmen by not trying to be xmen? hhmmm.....None the less this is my new Monday night show! And dont forget Ugly Betty starts thursday! We need to represent and watch this for our peeps! I can't wait!!

So yesterday we took the plunge! We linked our bank accounts and I am basically going to manage the funds for both of us. This means were getting checks with our name on it.. awwwww! we are now officially THE gay. Not just gay, but THE gay! I will manage both accounts and the bills as one.

So 5 days til I turn 31!!! I want Presents! LOTS OF THEM! lol kidding :) actually I have no real plans yet, im okay with it though. The mellower the better right now. Im in a mode of funk. Still doesnt mean you cant get me presents. LOL. I tried to convince my sister to buy me a Tassimo last night, since the Senseo is so last year! its now at target for 129!! thats like such a price break from last years 170. Which reminds me, im out of coffee... /cry.

Green Grouchies ATTACK!

HIYA~ PFT, POW, POOM, ZAP! BOOM! YAK, (yak, wtf!!!!). LOL

So this weekend was a special weekend =) there was drama, love, sexiness and the big "?" and the folsom fair (which i flaked on HA! lol).

Let me give you the recap of the wedding. My little cousin who I remember as a baby (aww tears!) was tying the knot with her Fiancee Lupe. It was a beautiful ceremony, touching, alot of love, alot of family. A whole lotta family in fact. My cousin Angel had on the most beautiful wedding dress. It was cream color, no train with deep red accents at the base and top with a Red Tie up lace across the back. Beautiful, just beautiful. The Groom Lupe wore a white and red tux, that matched the bride. I really appreciate true love like this. You really appreciate your family and growth and your lovie. Evette caught the bouquet, which is so ironic.. because shes claiming an engagment of sorts with her current boy toy. Number 2 better do it for ya lady! Actually I envy her, Tatas the size of 2 third world countries, puts the Hoe in San Jose LOL (LOVE YOU NANERS!) and I think shes going to be our Elizabeth Tailor.. you know Divafied, on to her 5th husband. mmhmmm

Anyhow, so the food was delish. Just ask the Aint no shame 2 her game chika. Im so glad her dress fit her the way it did, because im sure if she had some room in them tatas (oh speaking of cleavage!) she would have a take home bag hidding in their. And then we danced! Oh the joys of dancing with your family with that janky mix that we didnt care about. I danced with my momby, sister right befor Mystique performed. They had a band this sorta santanish sounding group that does covers of santana style music, just awesome. Very homage to your Latin heritage. It was sooooo cute seeing my little grandma shake her rump a bit too.. I love my family!!

Okay ill keep it at that, time to work. I got a full plate and my fat ass needs ta eat =p.

The Novella in the Village Towncourt!

So last night was a true novella unfolding before our eyes in the Village Towncourt. We went to our FIRST HOA meeting, even though we have lived there for 7 months now. Anyhow.. So the President of the HoA is this guy that I really don't like.. and well obviously im not the only one. It was an all out confrontational gripe fest of doom. There are some really outspoken people and it was in fact Dramatic to say the least. Someone there even had a speech to request him to resign. Me and Alex were like OMG OMG.. lol.. next time im bringing liquor to really get the party started LOL.

Anyhow why it was so hot is our roofs need repairs and there is 6 buildings total. They (meaning the HOA) mismanaged the money we had in our reserves and now we have this emergency situation coming up with enough money to do 2 roofs out of the 6. So there was talks of an assesment. If you think about it, it makes sense though. The money WAS mismanaged.. its roughly 35-36k a building per roof. Well the painting of our complex was 90k... why would they paint the buildings FIRST with that money and then say oh we have an emergency and not enough money to fix the roofs with a problem thats been going on for YEARS. So it was an all out battle with facts and lies and scare tactics brought to the table (im not even joking LOL).. it was exciting! RRAR!

Basically the options are they take out a loan that everyone must either pay 100 bucks a month for 3 years to cover, a 3-5k one time assesment feee per unit to cover the money. which was what presented, but people were prepaired. Now there is a fix one to two at a time as money permits. The problem is if say someone or someones cant do this, its a hardship and because the property is the collateral for a loan. It means that they would put a lean on the building until the debt is paid off... Scarry huh. Well now we get to vote and there are other options now that are on the ballot. Basically we are going for the fix 1 roof at a time method with a raise in our HOA fees to 300 a month and they fix 2 this year, more next year.. and no ones homes get a lean. We moved in, at the rainy season, and we got no problems (yet) lol, so i think this option works for us.. now its up to the owners for the ballot vote.. TBD.....

Actually im not aggro today! WHODA THUNK! In fact its probably because i sense change. a day when i woke up thinking I owned my future and I could make it happen. Good or bad the risks I will take to make it happen and to face and embrace the change. I won't say any more than this, but change is good, and 2 make it happen I will do my best.

On a quick note, tonight is the HOA meeting of doom. Pray it goes well, or else ill be crying tomorrow LOL!!!!

The whore in me

Did you know I was a music whore? LIKE an OMGIGOTTHATCDTOO! whore.. ? lol.. And I know if you've paid attention its a regular subject here on the blog of doom and happiness AWWWW HUGS!

Well yesterday I had intended to pick up the new Paulina Rubio album. True to form I check the Tuesday updates for the AOL listening parties and low and behold the Fergie album was on there. Now personally I dont really like her single "London Bridge" that much. Its cool, but not my cup of tea. But then again so does everyone else likes it, its being played out. And you really expect the cd to be of that caliber. Boy was that a bad assumption. There are about 2 songs total on the cd that reflect that style including that single. Well reflect a dance style. The other tracks are nothing less than amazing. This cd is soooooo good, i had to tell the world! Well maybe not the world (my 15 or so people who i know read this =p).

So whats so good about it? It really throws you for a loop. You come in thinking its another Black Eyed Peas type of cd. Not at all.. She really sings! The songs are quite smoothe, some neo soul, r&b, a FUNKY old school dedicated tracks. The alubm is VERY smoothe and Im going to say this so dont shoot me. BUT remember when Fugees? And when Lauren Hill released this cd that was nothing short of OMFG!? I have that feeling here, Don't get me wrong, shes no Lauren Hill, (will there ever be another? Pffft) BUT as a SOLO artist she really shines.. Diverse sound, Some New songs that are going to be instant classics. This album is GOLD! GET IT!

The value of a friend

Yesterday I had a moment where i had a breakdown regarding a friend thats no longer here. I knew this day was coming since in a week and a half it makes it the 1 year anniversary, which is also a day after my birthday. I had read up on his myspace yesterday and there is this INTENSE post from his brother regarding some fake people trying to make themself feel better. I was blown away, like blown away. Its almost dangerous. There is a post prior regarding who I believe he thinks his friends were. Im glad im in there, and it just made me cry. You know loosing someone is like an empty void in your heart. No matter who it is. While we do our best to move on, and pull ourself together and do what WE think that person would want us to do. There is always going to be that void just missing. We rememeber them by the good times and even the bad and how that person was always there through the thick and thin. There is always going to be that void, the memorys that we will cherish, but I will never underestimate the value of a TRUE friend.

On that subject, I have many friends, like many many... but very few that I would call if i needed something. Needed someone to talk to, needed someone that shoulder to cry on. In fact, I can count on one hand. These are people that stuck by me through thick and thin, and together we are perfect in our imperfections. I won't name them here, they know who they are. Te amo.

By the way, today is not a sad day at all. It is a day to celebrate :) Every day is. There are many things to be thankful for! Today Fergie and Paulina Rubios albums came out! Of course I cant afford both, but i know which one im buying. Also, another place went up for sale today in my complex which is nice.. they are asking 385. The last single unit like ours went for 385 as well.. and ours looks nicer and we payed 20k less than that asking price.. so whats that mean to me? Well if this one sells which i dont doubt it would.. = instant equity!

Serenity

Sometimes you need a little time to relax, rejuvinate the soul, reflect. Sometimes there are places you can go, quiet times... me Serenity is playing a video game lol. Nothing more relaxing than casting a spell at someone in game and going he he he dead! Which makes me GEEKY! Thank the lord im a sexy beast. Well Sexy fat beast but whos counting! lol. Sorry my new Dell computer came in, and its SMOKIN! WHEEEEE!!!

Anyhow this weekend all things considering, i didnt play much video games. It was alot of family time, alot of Alex time. It was needed. Its been a rough week. And im glad to start a new one.

So did anyone pick up Justins cd yet? Can I just say OFF THE HOOK! Its definatly different and its very FUNKY! I have some favorites on the set.... some are too sexy for their own good.

To FALL in love...

This is a pivotal year for my relationship and fall is one of those months that brings out the romatic in all of us. There is so many firsts right now.. Our first Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas in OUR house is coming! WEEE!!! It certainly is special...

I find fall to be a light up the fireplace, walk in the park, leaves falling, the brown and red tones we wear kinda time of year. The dinners in the patio with a nice brisky weather. The chilly, but NOT too chilly cuddle on the couch, watching tv, Hot Cocoa or Cider... ahhh Fall is Romantic.

So if you have a lovey! Enjoy this time of year! Take a walk in the park, go get a starbucks, sit outside and converse and fall in love again. The leaves are browning, they will be falling soon... **SWOON** I sense a new Gap commercial coming!?! LOL!!!

Maneater

So do you ever hear songs and think oooooh hell I need to memorize this. This is going to be my new anthem. My new Living La Vida Loca! My Orale Holmes, esta mi cancion shhhhhaaaw! Your Oops you did it again! LOL ok i could go on, but im too grouchy to be humerous. Intiendes locos? Well anyway my new song to Memorize is Maneater by Nelly Furtado. Daaamn that song is saucy, and the video is smoking.. not to mention she is freaking perfect. Like beautiful, talented, a body that rocks, have you heard that voice... So hows the morning going for you? Im a bit sleepy, due to the fact that I went to bed at 1 because I was playing video games (read yesterdays blog lol). But I have good reason, Im Alpha Testing a new game that is going to be HUGE! LIKE HUUUUGE! Im under NDA to talk about it, so I can't but lets just say out of the 200k people that applied to alpha/beta test it.. i was lucky enough to get in the 3rd batch of souls..

Vices.. and your addictions...

So.. Yesterday as I got home, I realized how like clockwork I am. I walk in, give my doggie some attention, walk right up stairs, fire up the PC.. and on I go to Never Never land (read: Video games). My sister stops bye, but I end up playing some games right after as well.. then through the night Im geeking out like the big geek that I am. (thank god I aint ugly and the heffer beast geek) Oh that reminds me Alex stereotyped me because i went to the grocery store with him 2 days ago and i had a gaming shirt on and the guy at the register HUGE geeky guy. Was all being my friend because he plays video games too lol. Anyhow back to my story.

So i realized I have an addiction. Well not realized it, because its a given. So then I think about it.. what vices and addictions do people have? Some have Porn, Sex for some, some have TV, some Sports, Some eat, others drink (like 95% of my friends LOL), some like to shop (like alex duh). But what are your vices? And is there anything behind your vice..... addicted to beer because drinking makes you easy? or are you already easy? I know I aint easy... well easy on the eyes, yes... but I sure aint, easy like a sunday morning... Ill leave that to the rest of my lushes.

The Weekend Wrap up

So friends, family, comadres, ex comadres LOL etc... This weekend was another stunner! Hung out with my brother, at a aids benefit shindig at antonios. We drank. laughed, talked smack. I was imberassed a couple of times. I choked antonio, oh good times! Then we hit the club for a little tail shakin. Gooooood times! And how did we end the night? With Jack in the box of course LOL Spoken like a TRUE HEFFAH!

So today is the anniversary of 9/11. And as strage as it is, I can remember that day to the T. I know what I was wearing, when I heard, where i was when we watched the footage. Who I was with, how difficult it was to get by the week. How I think I cried every day. It was amazing, powerful, sad and difficult. I remember at work with Lorenzo (GOD i miss you) and we were so upset we were crying since we watched it with the rest of our job. Time stopped.. I pray that never happens again.

Life is short people, don't ever loose touch with what and who is important to you. Talk to them and see them every chance you get and make sure they know that you Love them. You never know when your or their time is up.

Every day you are given and wake up, make sure you thank God personally. Every day you get to kiss your wife/husband and kids, thank God for that one extra day. Every day you get to pester your doggie, you know what to do lol :) ahhhh life is good. Never taken for granted, always appreciated, the good and the bad. Its why its life :)

And what the hell is up with the Margarita that Paris drank that gave her the DUI. Do you REALLY think shes going to get a DUI charge? LOL. .08 is the minimum.. she had 1 drink, She went home after being there for what an hour or 2? Law is you stay overnight.. So.. I think shes gonna get away with it. Of course she is, She is Paris Hilton, The Media Monkey.. I wonder if she flings poo too?

Jueves dia de la Zapatos!

Today is one of them sleepy days, where you get up late, slug around, try to drink your coffee asap because your fighting off the Meepy Sleepys. (GAWD I SHOULD WRITE A KIDS BOOK WITH ALL MY SILLIES). Anyhow, so I am running late.. I jump in the shower put my pants in the iron (read:Dryer) and i get out, pick my shirt, get ready... Here I am thinking awww i look kinda cute.. then i walk to my car... and as i get to my car I happen to look down. WTF! Why did I wear my old man shoes with these clothes?! LOL. What did I do to deserve this? I think I look okay if you DONT look at my shoes LOL. They match color wise, but I really thought i put on my CG brown sneakers. LOL.. im laughing right now, i look rediculous..

So I wont be leaving work today to go to lunch or breakfast or anything for that matter until its time to go home.. I have the fugly shoes of old fogies on, and I can't have the Paparazzi taking pictures of me like this?! God forbid I end up at the back of an enquirer magazine in the WTF are you wearing section!

The grouchies of the wowchies!

Whoda thunk they would attack me on such a nice Wednesday! On a short week no less! OMG LOL. Its okay coffee is brewing, the world is safe! I was trying to sing and dance my way through the grouchies with a whole set of purple princely sing alongs.. including Darling Nikki.. I was going to try to gyrate in the car, but I figured i might get arrested for indecency or get in an accident. Better safe than handcuffed I always say. =p

So you all aware my birthday is in 3.5 weeks! Im starting to get the happy times in my noggin (and thats a WHOLE lotta noggin). Not sure whats going to transpire or take place.. I will most likely keep it mellow. I may invite some close friends over for intimate dinner who knows.

Oh yeah my new Dell computer should be coming within a week! Lets all do the happy geeky dance for Reubensitos Pepitos!! I bought a gaming rig, I should probably get a new game to showcase my system goodness! Any ideas? Of course the only game I want right now is Enchanted Arms and its for the xbox 360! Well that and Viva Pinata.. but that doesnt come out until November. But nothing that stands out for the pc. OYE!

The best weeekend ever??

Did you just not enjoy this fabulous weekend? Let me fill you in on my good time! Friday was a gaming wash, washed clothes, played games.. alex came home and we chilled together. Saturday was his Birthday! We woke up and went to breakfast with my family. Was quite nice.. we all ate like heffers with the shitty waiter that we actually complained about. My Grandma was coming into town that day and I really needed to see them. She took us to dinner at the Spaghetti Factory.. then she came over my house. And honestly that meant the world to me. I really was glad she finally made it. I really inside thought she would never make it to my place. And it was good quality time and she loved our housie.

Sunday was Beerbust with the guys for the fundraiser. And that was such a great time! Alex was dancing with adrian, i was being social with the girls. I was dancing with alex, i was drinking, taking shots, hanging with friends.. Seriously it was such an awesome time.. about 4 or so hours later we went home. Then came Monday the day of the shopping.. AHhhhhhh labor day sales are amazing! I got to pick some fancy clothes at such a good Price. Like SERIOUSLY good prices lol..

So was the weekend wonderful? HELL YEAH, i wouldnt have had it any other way! Sooo much family love.. so much love in general.. this is what life is about! God is good :)

A little somethin somethin!

Last night, I was up in the Willow Glen Barrio.. looking for something of ethnicity, when we discovered a place I have been to once.. called Aqui's. Can you just say... Delicious! For the budget concious folk, its about 8-10 a plate, 1.50 soders.. no waiters, so you can eat a REALLY good meal for under 25 bucks, with a desert you can share. I had this Crusted Tilapia... that was TOO DIE FOR! The food is made well, almost healthy. It gets an A+ on my places to dine for the couple on a budget. I do think I am going to rate places I eat on here, on a regular basis.. since we do try to get outa the house and eat every pay day :)

Everyone I want you to have a fantastic and SAFE 3 day weekend! I hope to be drunk every day, so I can enjoy my insanity while not having to wake up at 7. God bless my liver! LOL

TO Janet, FELIZ CUMPLIANOS CHIKA! 26 is such a great age! =p I remember growing up together like it was yesterday! I love ya!
