Its no secret I am a music whore. This is a given.. I always have been. I love good song no matter what language or style. I really do like a little of everything. Most of my music though is pretty mainstream. Outside of the Christina Aguilera Album I pretty much have everything current. Last night I picked up the Laura Pausini YO Canto cd... I highly suggest this to anyone who appreciates beautiful music. Laura Pausini has a timeless voice and a distinct mature sound. On the same note J-Lo came out with her new single and video yesterday "Que Hiciste" Oh my jeebus, this song is on fire. It is very Marc Anthony IMHO... /swoon. Also of Note, Robbie Williams Rudebox cd is pretty amazing as well. Very good Pop.. worth hearing it for the Pet Shop Boy Collaborations as well. Saucy!!

So my Shalon got her tix for the Prince shindig in 2 weeks.. girl I really wish I coulda went. Valentines Weekend though, job security etc sorta has me singing another tune. Yuck! Which reminds me, I need suggestions on Resturaunts for Valentines! I am thinking Thai...

Holy Moley on a rollie!

Valentines day is just 2 weeks away! WTF! How do I prepare? What do I buy Alejandro Fernandez Guadalupe Pepitos Horchata Luz Jesus Cruz Orale Perez? I mean.. what do you buy someone with a name like that? I can try to get a monogram, but.. you know.. unless im getting a Monogramed Ruler... LOL. Jest kidding!

Friendship should never be taken for granted. It should be cherished and reverred and nourished. It is through thick and thin, fat and skinny hahaha. Drink and Drunk LOL.

In my path I have met many, known many, been close to many, but very few are able to penetrate the bridge between friend and Best Friend. To the select few that I can count on one hand with, um sans a finger or two lol, Thank you for earning the respect we have, the memories and mamories, the long weekends and the Long Islands lol. Bitches I love ya, wouldnt know what I would do without ya. You ground me, keep me grounded will ya?

Mii + Wii = Weeeee!!!

So last night was opening night for this new star in my house. LOL! okay enough rere aside. Yeah This Wii is crazy fun. No joke. I could see why it still is hard to find. You actually get INTO the game and thats off the hizzle fo shizzle. Alex even was enjoying it. We did decide we need more space from the game to where you play. So going to move the tv to a new spot so there is plenty of space and pray i dont hit anybody. You really swing and bowl etc... Bowling is alot of fun. Actually so far Bowling is the best. Its interesting to be so interactive with a game that your actually NOT sitting in one spot to game, but moving around lol. Good times!

Anywho enough about the Wii for today. Time to head out and get some work done. Peace in the East!

lol. So The search and hunt for the holy grail is now over. Yesterday out of a quick glance at a tracker, I found that Amazon.com had them in stock for a minute. So I ordered and it should be here by today. THANK GOD and FINALLY!!! I can now play my Zelda that Gabi and Arezou got me for it! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait! oh and thank you Gabi and Zoe for my Zelda, wiiiiiii!!!!!

I also switched up my hours for work. Doing 7:30-4 now, which is decent. Im going to be taking a little lunch daily I think. So happy times for the happy cow.

Oh whaaaat a night!

With Heroes, The Hills and DanceLife... let me tell you.. Amazing night of Quality TV. I had to skip I love New York, but thats okay Reruns will be on all week. Lets start with

Heroes: OMG!!! Did that episode rock the casbah or what? It makes me glad that Claire is bringing her boy toy back into the fray of friendship. I love him! I have a feeling he may die eventually by some villan. YAY! And whats up with Nikki being a psycho.. that was awesome.

The Hills.. Oh Lauren.. I decided you have my permission to date Brody.. I just want to say after some Brody sexiness on screen and charming self.. We had a vote last night and the results were.... Jason who? HAHAHA!!

Dance Life.. I love this show and I have this little crush on Kenny and Nolan.. GOD i love Nolan.. And Blake gets on my 1 nerve.. total over reacting self centered queen. I would love to see him break his leg and see what he does then lol. Tired evil girl.. Nolan Im rooting for you!!!

The weekend!

What a weekend it was! Started out with that company party that was quite fun. THEN why did we all end up at splash? LOL HR, My bosses... me alex.. the lesbeanies and the crew.. oh man.. GOOD TIMES! I was pretty hammered. But we danced all night.. it was amazing.. seriously the energy we all had together really brought it down. Talk about good times.

Saturday was hanging out with my grandparents.. god I love them. Did the spaghetti factory... yummay!

Yesterday was Me and Alex out of the house and busy. Today i should be resting i was pretty on the go.

and tonight... Praise the dear lord baby jesus in a manger... !!Heroes!! My heart.. my soul.. on TV finally... and The Hills and Dancers Life... /swoon the boobie toobie.

Moral -10 points!

Anywho so tonight is our company party! Hoorah yeah? Sorta has a damper on it because they just announced a little 5% workforce layoff for Moto which will happen by the half of the year. It is only 5% over 70k employees which is about 3,500 folks across the company. Truth is, it may not hit us at all. However, now do the math.. think acquisitions, think overlap. Synergy is the keyword here (read: Duplications). So right now the morale here just took a pretty large hit. You can sense it, you can feel it, its in the air. The uncertainty and security just went out the door. So right now its going to be a large damage control measure. However the light at the end of the tunnel is, if you make it past this layoff, then you are probably golden. The other thing is, you are probably guaranteed a great package. Either way, its time to dust off the resume, fix it up and just do whats right for your house. With the uncertainty looming, its bound to be a very interesting next few months while it all develops. Anyone know anyone hiring? LOL!

Im not sure what I personally am going to do, I don't believe I am safer than anyone here. I would like to stay here, but who knows what the future holds. I do have a mortgage payment that i am putting extra away for as we speak. Im going to try to have a 2 month reserve minimum for me in the bank for the just in case. Not to mention 401k that can be taken out for a few extra months of getting by. Ugh! now comes the financial crunch.

Amazon Women on the Moon!

Whoda thunk they would live there?! If you have ever seen that movie you probably love it as much as the Kentucky Fried Movie. Classic silly stuff.. touches my inner happy place! Not that happy place people dirty people!

Today is a good day, its a day of happiness, lovies, wuvies and scrumdiddlyumptious bars. If you know what that is, 20 points! DING DING! Oh speaking of DingDing Hi Bee! Just kidding, remember dingding our busgirl at china way? Awwww lets go back there and give her a hug! lol.

Sad story.

Sometimes I just don't get it. Radio stations are clearly idiots half the time. Most contemporary pranks, jokes they play on people etc are annoying. Its why I do not listen to the mainstream radio. I really dont find much humor in the hype of ridicule for tickets to a concert or cash or music. True Story: once when i was in highschool i had to sing on the radio while vacuuming to win premier tickets to see Dick Tracy. And in high school that was my thing.. so i got my tickets a little imberassed.. I have heard shows where people have to humiliate themselves, and more power to them I guess if they are willing to do so. Shock Jocks and sick pranks, its time to think again. Be aware and learn from this. There are children without a mother now. Blame the shock jocks or the hype around a system that there just isnt around enough of? Who's to say.. it was a cheap joke and ha ha ha right.. http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/14/woman-dies-trying-to-win-a-wii/ ? its not funny anymore. I hope you are sued to high hell.

Personally i know the Wii hunt just as much as anybody. Eventually I will get one. Until I find one personally, this is going to be in the back of my mind. My heart goes out to her family and those children.

The Labrynth

What a long weekend. What a well needed weekend. It was full of eating, shopping, hanging out with family, friends etc.. I played plenty of video games, even went to the movies! Whoda thunk! Had a nice argument with Alex saturday night and to end the 4 day event, I watched the Hills and the new J-lo Dance life show.... sawwweeeeeeeeet!

So lets start with friday. Was out and about all day with Alex and ended the evening with Pans Labrynth with my brother and virginia. What an amazing movie that was. Pleasantly surprising and breathtaking. When you get to the end your so involved and feeling it and when all is said and done, it touches your heart and it left me speechless. Its grim, dark a bit gory and well written and a powerful story. Go see it.

Fast forward, target, video games, hanging out with my mom and sister, FINALLY getting a haircut, spending time with the girls.. was lovely. THANKS OSCAR FOR GETTING ME OVER 2k points!!! WOOHOO!

And whats up with the drama on the hills? Audrina, girl you crossed the line of friendship with that one. If I were heidi, i woulda beat you down.. And you could feel the hatred. Good times and good drama.

Happy Friday for me it is! Im off til Tuesday :) Ahhh much needed rest and relaxation! Maybe in February Ill be able to take off a full week!! BTW im over the rumour mill crap. It is what it is. YAY!

So whats on my agenda this weekend? Well tonight I will start with Ugly Betty.. then tomorrow will be Pan's Labrynth for the double date movie. Saturday Is rest it up and the final peice of my house cleaning extravaganza.. the bedroom DUN DUN DUUUUN!! actually its not bad at all its just getting it organized, closets etc... Then going to move onto the devil of a project, the GARAGE /cry!!!! devils!

Oh yeah this haircut thing is rediculous.. i think im just going to go pay for a cut somewhere. My mother is lagging mrs cut finger.. oh tell me why my mother now has a myspace /crys...

When the rumour mill starts rowin!

And the hamsters in your head start dancing...moving and grooving and you buy into them, guess what? You already lost the battle. In my head I see it all this way. Things are what they are and there is not much one can do to change them. If that proverbial axe falls, the best you can do is be prepared. Im preparing for the just in case, but im not going to buy into the many MANY rumours that are floating around. Its a job yes, we need it yes, hell I need it, raises the fist of mortgage lol So Change your perspective and make sure you shine! This is a good thing and not the end. In fact its a new beginning, you just started a new job at a great company. Dress for success, Comb your hair, put your im going to kick ass face on and come to work prepared to bring it. Remember the only thing you can do is shine, its your time.

I Love New York

Ok... that show was off the HIZZLE... FO SHIZZLE! Like seriously thats some quality TV. I have my favorites as well. Some of them are too hot for words lol.. Me personally, Ill Take 12 Pack and Rico... and something about Boston I find adorable, hes like uber dorky and makes me want to go awwww.. YOU KNOW when he gets voted out, hes going to cry lol. Poor little honkey tonk! I love him..

This friday is Pans Labrynth... anyone going to see that? It looks amazing!! I have a friend in So Cal who saw it and said it was awesome and a must see. I can't wait! Friday it is!!!

Salutations from the Moto Gallery :) All is said and done and I am now on a new adventure job wise. Cross your toes, your chichis and your fingers and wish me luck on this one! Now begins the integration.

This weekend was lovely. I was home all weekend 2 tentative plans that didnt pan out. Its alright I know where i stand =p So it was just me, Maxxie, My sister and lots of video games and house cleaning! LOL. Oh man i was surely in the cleaning mood. I felt like Irona "beep beep beep, estupit alex slob, beep beep beep. lol.

Fat Friday :)

Do you have those days in life where you feel like a beast? Where you wake up and go hmm.. did i get out of bed, or did I ROLL out of bed? You take a shower or do you TAKE the shower (probably with you because you couldn't get out of it you fat ass?) lol i dont know what that one meant but anywho.. Well today I shaved my burns off.. Yes folk no more Elvis. I shaved my fuzzy chinny chin chin too and well I think it makes me look way more pudgy. I dont think I KNOW. I am Pudgster Pudgaroonie, sexy in everything that is heffer.

I guess in a nutshell its a Fat Friday. If it walks like a heffer, talks like a heffer (moo), Must be Betsy and Berty Cow. And today I AM Berty Cow.

Oh did you not LOVE Ugly Betty last night? I hate Walter.. lol.. hes so hard to look at, kinda like me on Fat Friday. Speaking of Fat Friday... Fat Tuesday is coming up. That is February 20th and MY goal is to drop 10 pounds by Fat Tuesday :) THink I can do it? Turn this Super Fat ass into Super Sexy Buns of steel? (dials dr 90210) LOL!!

Rain Rain Go Away!

Come again some other day! WTF is up with the damn rain and the TRAFFIC. UGH no accidents just lame drivers. However I do miss the rain a little. I want to go home and take a nap though. I really need a week off for some R and R. Maybe February.. since we got told to hold off on PTO.

Anywho, today while driving to work i saw a car that was a smashed up bumper like fucked up enough where it was actually open and held closed by a rope. What was funny is that when i got closer the license plate it read "Caution, Too Close" No shit eh.. someone was too close lol.

Do you comb your hair every day?

Seriously? LOL I know today I didn't! HA! There are random days out of the week that I deside my frock is well more frazzle than fraggle. Its my Fraggle Frock LOL. ((sings the Fraggle Rock tune)).

So I decided that everyone in the world needs a magic bullet. Its the best thing ever. Last night I made Chile in 10 seconds, I put some beans on the burner and turned on the rice cooker. THEN.. in another flash, i threw some Cilantro, Onion and a Serrano Chile into my magic bullet and infused my olive oil with some lemon zest..combined the rice and the cilantro mix and a little salt for the best cilantro rice ever! Did the blackened chicken up and BLAM yummay! So i wonder how long until my bullet happy times goes away :)

Okay to work I go! WEEEEE!

Holy jeebus on a chichi, wasnt it just 1999 like last year? LOL. I hope everyone is warm and safe at home or at work :) We stayed in instead of going out this year. We hung out with Momby :) and had a nice quiet ringing in of the new year.

So lets talk Resolutions. =) There are so many things I want to accomplish this year, from personal growth and home improvments and debt managment and hell lets add weight managment too. Its pretty aggressive no? I have never TRULY written down my resolutions with actual mesurable results. So lets see how well I do. So listed in no particular order are my 10 resolutions, wish me luck, support me!

1. Money: My goal is to pay off 2 of our Credit Cards. (Keep an emergency card empty)
2. Money: To start a Vacation Fund
3. Money: Check my Fico quartly to verify changes and that its going up, not down.
4. Self: To limit fast food to the occasion rather than the rule.
5. Self: To eat smarter and snack smarter. Is that a Yummy Yogurt instead of chips? Eat breakfast every day. So 3 meals instead of 2.
6. Self: The second I am able to get Motorola to pay for my Gym to sign up and go for it. Dedicate 3 days a week to a half hour work out minimum and work my way up from there.
7. Education: Look into Spanish Classes for Spring to start and look into Six Sigma Training courses by Motorola to further my career.
8. House: Set a cleaning schedule and generally be more clean. Not the scramble when a guest comes over lol. (not that i do that =p)
9. House: 1 Major improvment this year: Target is Floor Replacment from Carpet to Wood of some sort and do it ourself. Small minor changes like Painting again :)
10. House: Organize. I think with a small place organization is key and we lost that key ages ago LOL. So we need to make sure everything has a place. This goes for the Garage and even the closets! Oh yeah buy a closet organizer Reuben! Just bit the bullet :)

Okay so wish me luck! and What are YOUR resolutions!
