EAT SMART!

I was thinking about this last night when it was about 8 and I was hungry, I had not eaten dinner. I had already went to the gym and was with alex out and about when we are driving to jack in the box. My first request was a chicken chipotle burger with onion rings and a diet coke. Luckily the line was long so i started the internal battle. So I remembered looking into this a while ago for the fast food on the go person. So what did I order? A number 15 The Grilled Chicken on a Pita bread Instead of Fries, I got a fruit cup and my diet coke. So did I do bad? Hell no.. lets do the math. Chicken Fajita Pita 280 Calories 9 grams of fat. My Chipotle Chicken Chibatta 750 Calories and 34 Grams of Fat. Onion Rings 500 Calories and 30 Grams of fat, The fruit cup 90 calories 0 grams of fat. Get that.. So lets put it together.. The Chicken Pita and Fruit Cup and diet coke combo = 370 calories and 9 grams of fat. The Chicken Chibatta and Onion Rings and a diet coke = 1250 calories and 64 Grams of fat. You do the math.. My daily caloric intake is around 2000 a day. That includes 3 meals and 3 snacks. SO had I eaten that burger combo, I would have killed it.

Mcdonalds that asian grilled chicken salad with the lite sesame ginger dressing is to die for tasty. And the packet of dressing is like 70 calories and 2.5 grams of fat. So eat it up... get that with a diet coke or better yet a water and you are eating far better than your 1200 Calorie 60+ grams of fat meals at the fast food joint. Do you like Taco bell, Get yourself a grilled chicken taco and ask for it FRESCO style (they cut the cheese and throw in some pico de gallo). Guess what you just saves some major calories and fat. Are you a panda express fan? Instead of fried rice/chow mein get Steamed Veggies as your side 50 calories and 1.5 grams of fat. Get some Beef Broccoli 150 calories and 7 grams of fat. Black Pepper Chicken 200 Calories and 12 grams of fat. Chicken with Mushrooms 130 calories and 6 grams of fat. However get Sweet and Sour pork and you have 400 calories and 23 grams of fat... So we skip that and we still eat tasty..

See you CAN be smart and on the go. But my real advice, try to cook at home. it saves money and you do get to eat more because you are in control of what you are eating. But when its not possible or your lazy, go get a bite to eat! but EAT SMART!
